FreeMartinNow has flown the coop. Perhaps the below email exchange had something to do with it as the suspension was lifted shortly after. This is effin hilarious. TSA Got One Right – We Are Finally Safer

I suppose stranger things have happened. But last week, the often maligned Transportation Security Administration finally got one right - to the benefit of all flying Americans. You read that correctly. The TSA managed to identify a threatening 18-month old and pull it off a flight from Ft Lauderdale to Newark. You see, the child did not have her own boarding pass, but was included on the American parent's boarding pass. The child's name was apparently "potentially" on a no-fly list according to an airline spokesperson. There has been a lot of discussion about this incident on the interwebs, but in this post, I'd like to take a look at the facts. They are as follows:

Babies are poorly behaved. They like to smoke, and smoking is not allowed on planes.

Babies are poorly behaved. They like to drink. We can't have drunken babies flinging bottles inside the airplane cabin.

Babies frequently projectile vomit. This is their favorite method of dispensing biological threats and there cannot be any type of projectile allowed on a plane.

This is not widely known, but babies can be dangerously explosive. Here is video proof of this terrible danger.

I don't know about you, but I for one am extremely proud of and grateful to the TSA for their hard work in the task of keeping Americans safe from these menacing babies. Please take some time out of your busy serfdom to thank the TSA for this valuable and life-saving service.
